Christine Stewart

Founder and CEO

owner/director

Born in Georgetown, Guyana, and having resided in the Northeast for over 25 years, I made the move to Lexington, South Carolina in 2011. For the past 13 years, I have been dedicated to enriching the lives of numerous children from my home in Lexington. My commitment to delivering quality care to families is fueled by my passion for creating a nurturing and welcoming environment that fosters growth.

To further my expertise in Early Childhood Education, I successfully obtained an Associates degree from Midlands Technical College. This educational background has equipped me with valuable knowledge and skills to support children’s development effectively. Making a positive impact on children’s lives has become my life’s purpose, and I am dedicated to continuing this important work with unwavering dedication and love.

I, along with my experienced team at Lexington Child Development Center, expand on the work of continuing the growth of those I affectionately call our ‘Future Explorers’.

Meet the Staff

Diane A. Greene

Teacher
I am Diane, a mother of two children, aged 26 and 45, and a proud grandmother of two. I attended the University of SC, where I majored in Child Development. As a retired State of SC employee from the Court of Appeals, I bring a wealth of life experience to my role.
With 7 years of childcare experience in a daycare setting, I have worked with children ranging from infants to age 5. In my spare time, I enjoy watching television, writing poetry, and listening to music. Exploring new dining experiences, attending concerts, dancing, and indulging in all things beach-related are among my favorite activities. Additionally, I am an avid fan of USC Baseball Games.
Teaching daycare brings me immense joy as I witness the growth of children through simple activities and knowledge. Seeing them thrive is the ultimate goal that I strive to achieve.
